The problem is that you've rar'd the entire movie as a single rar file. That's a classic move by someone who's going to try lock people out with a password. Your good move here would have been to up the movie as a single avi file since nobody has done that yet.
An even better move would be to upload the DVD rip of this movie but that might be asking a bit much.

The argument that others use rar to hide spam is ignorant in face of the fact far more people have used rar for far longer without evil intentions. They don't have a vlaid reason for saying what they do, but don't know that.
That said, why do you use rar, besides the fact you like it? Do you have a valid reason? It was originally used so that people could cut a large binary file into many smaller files compatible with usenet news readers (ie. text-like) for posting. Using it here does not save space, and takes more time since people have to go through an unnecessary step to get to it. It's not helpful. Also, a sample doesn't prove the quality of the main file because there's no proof it came from there.

Your second lesson is to click on an uploader's ID and see the posting history. Spammers get found out within a day by those who know how. I got it from my source in a sinlgle rar file. For me there was no reason to extract and upload it. Also the little kb that you can earn from winrar is a respectable amount of bandwidth if you multiply with the numbers of leechers.
You people suspect something is wrong then don't download. Anyway it's true that the audio is somewhat out of sync but i would not characterize it horrible. That's my opinion.

Seriously guys, behave. If you don't like the file system, get the movie with another torrent. Don't whine about it being pw protected until you know if it is pw protected. There's no problem unpacking rar files on a mac. Somebody took the time to copy and upload this so YOU could get your hands on it for free. Show a little appreciation.

The audio seems to be DVD quality.
There is no point to having it be one large .rar file nor even raring it to split it and then torrenting it. These do not make it a fake though.
I do recommend leaving it just one .avi (or whatever) and possibly a sub file, but don't bother raring it or giving a sample. Just extra bits. But, that's my opinion.
